Alumina Polishing Powder / Polishing Aluminum Oxide
Specialty Alumina for Fine Polishing with moderate hardness, is more suitable for fine polishing. By selecting the right particle size products, and adjusting the solid content in the polishing liquid (1-60% adjustable), it will be achieved high cutting rates and fast light effect. For the same particle size product, the cutting rate will be increased obviously by improving the solid content in the polishing liquid.
At present, our company has two series of products, GD and GDS. GD series are mainly used for the final polishing of mirrors of sapphire and others. GDS series are specially applied to automotive paint polishing, resin lens polishing, high-grade furniture paint polishing field.

We developed this special polishing alumina with our unique process, the high purity reduce the disturb from other elements, the particle has very uniform distribution and its average particle size D50 can be customized from 0.2-10um so does its surface area.
GD Polishing powder with high purity and superfine powder,it is 99.9% Al2O3 content and average particle size of 0.2-0.3um or 0.3-0.4um. With its superfine particle size, GD series provides very good mirror effect, it is also very good raw material to make polishing suspension or wax. It is mainly used for fine polishing of sapphire crystal, glass and lens.
GDS series polishing alumina is improved from GD series which has better cutting speed and better polishing effect. With 99.9% of alumina, its main impurities are Na<200ppm, Fe<100ppm and Si <100ppm. The lower the impurity the less interfere for polishing. Now we can produce GDS series polishing powder with D50 0.3-10um available. Our GDS-03A, GDS-05A, GDS-15A and GDS-20A are mainly used for fine polishing of optical crystals, glass and resin lens.
GDS-25A and GDS-56A belong to big particle size powder in GDS series, their average particle size is 2.5um and 5-6um, this means they have higher cutting speed than other GDS polishing powders. GDS-25A and GDS-56A are very mature products for car paint polishing. They are mainly used for car paint polishing wax.
